a few of my least favorite things.

i feel like there are people that should know this.
and i also feel as though it is necessary for me to get it out.

i hate when people are out to please everyone else. they end up destroying themselves. and in the long run, please nobody.
but, i hate when people are out to please only themselves. they don't think twice about how their actions are affecting everyone else around them.
balance.

i hate when people are concerned with nothing but their social life. we must strive for something in life for our lives to have meaning.
but, i hate when people are so focused on their personal goals that they have no time to love and be loved.
balance.

i hate when people have addictive habits and behaviors.
but, i hate when people don't have the motivation to keep pursuing things that are good for them. or things that they love.
balance.

i hate when people stress out about things that aren't really going to be that significant in ten years.
but, i hate when people couldn't give two flying fucks.
balance.

is anyone recognizing this pattern?

to achieve balance in life is to achieve happiness. which is every human's underlying goal.

please yourself. please others. found a way to do it at the same time? even better. volunteer. give blood. get in touch with your talents and use them to your advantage AND to society's advantage.

i am not going to insult anybody's intelligence and give solutions to every problem that i just called out. because i know you can figure it out.

my cousin posted this quote on her myspace today and i am going to copy it because it relates to one or more subjects in this bulletin.

"You are only as strong as your purpose, therefore let us choose reasons to act that are big, bold, righteous and eternal." -Barry Munro

wishing you well in all your endeavors.
and as always. lovin' you.

I love that quote!! It is hard to achieve balance. Life can move so quickly that some people only have time to see thier main focus, not all of the smaller yet more important things, like family, and helping others. One can only hope that someday they really open thier eyes to the world around them and see....reality. But most are small minded or to closed off to really grasp the meaning of humanity. You, my darling, are just gifted.
