the simple life

random thought:

i miss when things were simple. when stress wasn't even in our vocabularies. when our daily decisions included what cereal we ate, what color teeshirt we were wearing that day, and if we like that person or not. at this point in our lives we are making decisions that could alter everything in our lives, not just how our day goes.

everyone gives us all of this knowledge, but i don't know if the responsibility is worth it.

another random thought:

everyone has to believe in something, be passionate about something. you can't just go through life living for other people. because in the end, they probablly won't even be there. it's just you. and your experiences will create for you a state of mind. make them positive. and have a purpose.

live for something. have beliefs, or you are just a waste of oxygen.

ok that was a little harsh. but seriously. everyone has a purpose. you need to realize this. figure out what it is, and then go about fullfilling it. life is not meaningless. it doesn't just push and shove you around for nothing. there's got to be something bigger out there. and i honestly believe that it has something to do with virtue.

life is not circumstance, but what you as an individual make out of those circumstances.
