absense makes the heart grow fonder

the phrase is very cliche' and sometimes means absolutely nothing when given as advice. yet, how very true it is. when you are at a certain place or with a certain person your brain is focused on the problems and conflicts that are currently in front of you. you seem to forget about worries that have to do with other places and other people and other deadlines. and almost as soon as you leave that person you mind forgets about the negative things that the relationship brings about. when your mind is free to make up it's own histories and it's own thoughts about people away from it, it chooses to be positive rather than negative. your heart seems to fall in love all over again and therefore you miss that person terribly.

and although this seems to be quite a negative thing, i think that in the long run, it is not. your heart seems to take over when your mind is not currently focused on that person. and if you let your mind be the only one in control the whole time, you would take no risks in life or love.

and just because problems arise when you are faced with something, does not mean that you aren't truly in love, and it does not mean that you do not truly enjoy that place that you are in.
